I’ve polled Connor and Keegan about the wildest things they’ve seen in our first few days here. Most of them seem to be transportation related — more as to why as part of future post focused on the topic. Counting down their top 5:
5. How insanely packed the buses are during rush hour.
4. Street vendors everywhere, often hopping on/off buses to peddle their wares to a captive audience.
3. Daddy getting smashed in a metrobus door trying to shepherd all members of the family on. (This is still Keegan’s vote for #1.)
2. Baby sitting in front of his dad on a motorcycle darting through traffic. The boys added, “at least he was wearing a helmet.”
1. A street performer juggling pins and a soccer ball while on a tightrope over an intersection during a red light. Right before the light turned green, he hopped off and untied the wire so cars could pass before collecting money from onlookers in vehicles. A nearby police officer applauded.
